Roberto Jabor, will direct "Copacabana of Lone and Shadows" from his own
script, to be executive-produced by Alex Massis, for The Film Source, Florida
based production and sale-company.
It would be Jabor's XXX (1) full-length film and the 15th for Alex Massis who
executive produced, among other: "The Silent Flute: starring David Karadin;
"Sellout" with Oliver Reed; "The Traveler", directed by the Oscar-awarded Moshe
Mizrahi'; The Japanese movie "The Camel with A Child" and, A full-length
documentary "Promised Lands", directed by Suzan Sontag.

Roberto Jabor summarized the "Copacabana" story: "When a handsome and wealthy
English artist meets a Brazilian street kid, it looks like a match made in
heaven. Maybe it is, but not if the drag queen that haunts both their pasts has
anything to say about it"
"Copacabana of Love and Shadows" scheduled to commence principal-photography,
fall 2006 – pending ongoing negotiations with several known British and American
actors. The Film will be shot, in English, on locations in Rio De Janeiro..
